Los Angeles Rams star wideout Cooper Kupp was absolutely lights out in the regular season, racking up an NFL-best 1,947 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns. While he fell short of the 2,000 mark, Kupp has now made league history following his two impressive performances against the Arizona Cardinals and Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the postseason.
Per Pro Football Talk, the Rams WR is the first player ever to rack up over 2,000 yards (2,191) between the regular season and playoffs, surpassing the likes of Michael Thomas, Larry Fitzgerald, and Calvin Johnson, all legends at the receiver position.
Kupp has been lighting it up on the big stage for LA. He had nine catches for 183 yards and a touchdown against the Bucs then Kupp also showed out for five receptions and 61 yards vs. Arizona. The former Eastern Washington standout is averaging nine catches for 115 yards between the regular season and postseason, which is impressive in itself.
Despite the records, Kupp will strictly be focused on helping the Rams get past the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship on Sunday. Los Angeles has lost six in a row to their divisional rivals and will be looking to end the cold streak and book their ticket to the Super Bowl.
