Beside Todd Gurley's knee, Jared Goff's contract situation has been the talk of the Los Angeles Rams offseason. Recent comments by Goff are showing he us not concerned with his contract right now.

Wednesday, Goff spoke to the media and said he's not worried about his contract situation ahead of training camp. Goff is entering his fourth season in the NFL and has yet to receive a new extension from Los Angeles.

Of course, the Philadelphia Eagles handed Carson Wentz a lucrative extension that paid him $128 million over four years. Wentz was drafted one pick behind Goff in the 2016 NFL Draft. Wentz's contract could prove to be a benchmark of what Goff's contract looks like.

Therefore, the talks surrounding Goff increased and the media began wondering when Goff would receive his extension. Although, it doesn't seem like the Rams quarterback is worried about it.

In the last two seasons, Goff has drastically improved his play under Sean McVay. In 2017, the Rams made the playoffs for the first time since 2004 and in 2018, they made the Super Bowl.

After struggling in his rookie season in 2016, Goff has put together two straight seasons where he has become one of the league's best young quarterbacks.

Sometimes, contract disputes can become a distraction in a locker room, but Goff is unphased by it. At just 24-years-old, Goff is showing his leadership and maturity, which are glowing traits of his.

Earlier this offseason, McVay reiterated that a deal would get done with Goff. For McVay, he said it wasn't a matter of if he will get an extension, it's a matter of when. As Goff has shown this offseason, he isn't worried about when that “when” is.
