The Los Angeles Rams sure had one injury scare during their Week 8 road win over the Houston Texans.

Rams wide receiver Van Jefferson shined in the game with three receptions and 88 receiving yards. Sixty-eight of his receiving yards in the contest came off from one astounding reception in the third quarter, which helped in setting up the Rams' fourth touchdown drive of the game.

However, there was notable concern with Jefferson at the end of the play, as he was shown grabbing his left knee after being tackled by Texans safety Lonnie Johnson Jr.

The Rams' medical staff later evaluated Jefferson on the sidelines, but he managed to return to the contest over the latter half of the fourth quarter.

Rams head coach Sean McVay noted after the game that Jefferson will be good to go moving forward after dealing with minor swelling on his left knee.

“He’s good,” McVay said. “He's just kind of banged it, kind of like when you get a little bit of swelling in your knee, like a bursa sac. So he’s going to be okay.”

Jefferson has been a vital contributor to the Rams in their 11 personnel grouping. He has come away with crucial first downs over the season, and he continues to emerge as a reliable downfield threat for quarterback Matthew Stafford.

It will be noteworthy to see on Jefferson's availability for the team's scheduled practice sessions this week heading into the upcoming Week 9 home matchup against the Tennessee Titans.
