Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald is currently on track to feature in the upcoming Tuesday clash against the Seattle Seahawks.
Two days after the Rams’ thrilling win over the Arizona Cardinals, Donald was listed on the team’s injury report due to a knee issue. The three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year winner went on to take part in the team’s last three scheduled practices over the week, although he was a limited participant in each session.
On Saturday, Rams head coach Sean McVay shared his perspective on whether Donald may receive the green light to play in Week 15, as he noted that the defensive lineman has been “feeling good.”
Article Continues BelowDonald provided a notable update regarding his knee injury during a press conference on Sunday. He downplayed the knee issue by noting that it is nothing serious, as it has merely been “normal aches and pains.”
Donald is just coming off of a statement performance in the Monday Night Football win against the Cardinals; he recorded five total tackles, three sacks and three tackles for loss.
A win for the Rams over the Seahawks in Week 15 could be monumental for them. The Rams could not only inch closer to overtaking the Cardinals for sole possession of first place in the NFC West, but they may also officially clinch a playoff spot pending other results on Sunday.
