Todd Gurley's knee has been one of the biggest topics of discussion in the NFL over the last two months.

The Los Angeles Rams running back originally suffered a knee injury during his team's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles back in Week 15 and proceeded to miss the final two games of the season as a result.

However, the Rams did not miss a beat in his absence, as Los Angeles signed C.J. Anderson, who went on to puncture opposing defenses for 167 and 132 yards, respectively, in Weeks 16 and 17.

Gurley finally returned for the Rams' Divisional Round playoff matchup against the Dallas Cowboys and looked perfectly healthy, gashing the vaunted Cowboys run defense for 115 yards and a touchdown.

But then, in the NFC Championship Game, the Pro Bowler carried the ball just four times for 10 yards, leading many to believe that he was not entirely healthy.

Two weeks later in the Super Bowl, Gurley carried the ball 10 times for 35 yards.

In spite of all of that, the 24-year-old insists that his knee is just fine, telling TMZ Sports that it was “fantastic.”

On the season, Gurley rushed for 1,251 yards and a league-leading 17 touchdowns while averaging 4.9 yards per carry. In addition, he hauled in 59 receptions for 580 yards and four scores en route to his third Pro Bowl appearance and second straight First-Team All-Pro selection.

The Baltimore native, who played his collegiate football at the University of Georgia, was originally selected by the Rams with the 10th overall pick of the 2015 NFL Draft.

Since then, he has stamped his name among the best backs in the league.
