With the Super Bowl hanging in the balance, Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Van Jefferson had even bigger news brewing off the field.
The Rams wideout's pregnant wife was seen exiting SoFi stadium ready to deliver their baby.

It's without a doubt the most eventful day of Van Jefferson's life. He just reached the pinnacle of the sport of football with the Rams winning the Super Bowl, and reached the same peak as a father to his newborn baby.
Article Continues BelowThe news isn't too much of a surprise, given that his wife, Samaria, was already over 40 weeks pregnant during the contest. The couple was ready for this moment, both on and off the field.
Via Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic:
“I’m feeling pretty good — I’m definitely feeling 40 weeks (pregnant),” she told The Athletic this week, laughing. “I’m definitely feeling the pressure and the pain. Nerves for Van, nerves for our family — but it’s OK.”
“I’m excited about it,” Jefferson added this week ahead of the the final game of the Rams' season. “Excited to play in the Super Bowl as well. … Two things going on. I’m happy about both of them. Maybe he can wait just a little bit longer, until after the Super Bowl!”
Van Jefferson has a lot to be thankful for today.
