The Miami Dolphins infamously selected former Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Tua Tagovailoa with the No. 5 overall pick in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. However, because of both what could be a strange 2020 campaign and the fact that Tagovailoa has become known as an oft-injured player, it remains to be seen as to exactly how much playing time the former Alabama standout ultimately receives as a rookie.
Due to all the questions that continue to surround Tagovailoa, former NFL general manager and current NFL Network analyst Charley Casserly recently chimed regarding the subject of the Dolphins rookie.

Prior to officially becoming a member of the Dolphins, a team that absolutely sees the up-and-coming signal-caller as the franchise's quarterback of the future, Tagovailoa attained superstar status during his collegiate playing days at Alabama — pretty much from the start too. In addition to becoming a 2017 College Football Playoff National Champion and the game's Offensive MVP, Tagovailoa was also tabbed as a Maxwell Award winner, Walter Camp Award winner, and the SEC Offensive Player of the Year in 2018. Not done just yet, Tagovailoa was an All-American and first-team All-SEC selection in what would become his final go-round for the Crimson Tide this past season.
Whether or not Tagovailoa immediately starts for the Dolphins, it currently appears as though he is healthy and ready to roll. If Tagovailoa can return to form, the rest of the NFL better watch out as the young Dolphins could make some noise sooner rather than later under the direction of head coach Brian Flores.
