Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jarvis Landry has finally signed his franchise tender worth close to $16 million, per Omar Kelly of the Sun-Sentinel.
The Dolphins tagged Landry on the first day when teams were allowed to do so back on Feb. 20. By signing his tender, Landry will become the highest-paid receiver in the NFL next season in terms of base salary. It also allows the Dolphins the ability to trade him by the start of the new league year on March 14.
Landry has been one of the most consistently productive receivers since entering the league in 2014. He is coming off another strong season with the Dolphins as he finished with a career-high 112 catches for 987 yards and nine touchdowns. He was selected to the Pro Bowl for the third consecutive year and is averaging 105 catches for 1,093 yards and six touchdowns during those three years.
