Last year, the Miami Dolphins went 7-9 in a campaign that wasn't exactly lighting the fans on fire. However, 2019 is a new year and they have a new chance to bring excitement to their supporters. The first chance for that is at training camp.
According to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com, this year the Miami Dolphins will have 10 open training camp practices.
While they are open to the public and free – there are limited tickets. By that, I mean only 2,000 fans will be allowed to watch (free tickets available on team's website).
It's hard to imagine the practices not being at full capacity. The Dolphins have a lot of solid things going for them and a brand new quarterback situation.
Ryan Fitzgerald is the wily veteran who can still sling it – while Josh Rosen is the young quarterback with a bright future. The starting spot still seems up for grabs, and a lot could be figured out in training camp.
With that in mind, there's one major reason for fans to show up and see the team's 10 open training camp practices.
If you're interested in going, you should start to figure out your plans now. Training camp opens for the Miami Dolphins on July 25, so it's less than a month away. While 10 open practices is a solid amount, that's still a limited number. That becomes even more true when considering there's a 2,000 person limit for each session.
Only 20,000 people will be able to see them this training camp season – so get to planning right away.
