This offseason, the Miami Dolphins have made a few changes at the quarterback position. First, they signed Ryan Fitzpatrick and would later trade for Josh Rosen during the 2019 NFL Draft.
In an article by Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, Fitzpatrick says there's been a lot of disrespect thrown his way over the years. The veteran quarterback is entering his 14th season, playing for the eighth team in his career.
Fitzpatrick is the definition of a journeyman quarterback but it seems as if he'll get the nod over Rosen to begin training camps. The Dolphins new signal caller also spoke about how Brian Flores has been vocal to the team so far.

He has a really good personality. He’s been very consistent with his message so far and that’s something that really carries weight in the locker room and gets guys to play for you.”
Of course, Flores is entering his first season as the Dolphins head coach after calling plays for the New England Patriots in 2018. Flores was the replacement for Matt Patricia in New England but like Patricia, Flores landed a head coaching gig.
In addition, an anonymous Dolphins player said that Fitzpatrick has surprised the team with his leadership. The player also said that he's been the best quarterback in offseason programs. Again, Fitzpatrick will likely begin training camp as the starter but judging on his career, Rosen could get an opportunity to play in 2019.
