Jacoby Brissett now is expected to be the Dolphins’ starting QB today, per source.”
The Dolphins can't catch a break. The last three weeks the Dolphins are 0-3 but they've played better football. Their defense only allowed three points to Josh Allen and the Bills in the first half. They lost back-to-back games on last-second field goals. Miami could've been 3-0 in this stretch but was unable to come out with even one victory.
Miami had a chance to get their season turned around today against another 1-7 team. Wins against teams they should beat can turn their season around. Jacoby Brissett will now start for the Dolphins for the injured Tua and it doesn't look promising for the Dolphins. Brissett hasn't been great for Miami in the few games he's started this season.
Miami didn't make any moves at the trade deadline and at this point if Tua is injured, they might as well tank the rest of the season and try again next year. This is a tough blow for the Dolphins as they were hoping to turn things around against Houston.
