Dalvin Cook provided a big boost to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday after missing a couple of games with a hamstring injury, and Adam Thielen took notice of the impact it has on the offense when he is in the offense.

Cook had a long 70 yard run in the second quarter that was registered as the fastest speed an NFL player has hit this season and showed the dynamic running plays the offense has been missing with him out of the lineup.

“It’s night and day with him and without him,” Thielen said, via the Pioneer Press. “He’s a dynamic football player. He’s a big play waiting to happen at all times. The great part about him is he can block, he can run, he can catch. He can make make people miss. He can be a physical guy. He can be a speed guy. It’s just so fun to watch.”

As good as the Vikings offense looked against the Detroit Lions, one thing that didn't happen was Thielen getting his 100 yards receiving. With Stefon Diggs out a lot of attention was placed on Thielen and although he only had 22 yards receiving he did catch a touchdown.

One of the guys who stepped up was rookie Chad Beebe who had just been activated from the practice squad. He finished with three receptions for 21 yards, and all three catches seemed to come at crucial times.

The defense and offense seem to be clicking at the right time, and this team could be poised for a big run the second half of the season.
