There was some concern heading into the Minnesota Vikings game on Sunday against the Detroit Lions regarding Dalvin Cook's chest injury.
Going into the game, the talk was about the injury being a pain tolerance type of thing, rather than something he was going to injure more. In Sunday's game, Cook looked pretty healthy, rushing 18 times for 62 yards and a touchdown. He also caught two passes for 13 yards.
After the game, all attention turned to Cook's chest injury, which he said there were no concerns about and he would be ready to go in the Vikings next game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Cook is having an impressive season, rushing 241 times for 1,108 yards and 13 touchdowns. The Vikings are in good shape to make the playoffs, but their schedule is tough to close out the season so Cook is going to be a big key.
If Cook was to get banged up, the Vikings do have a good thing going in rookie running back Alexander Mattison, who has been a good change of pace back. On the season, Mattison has rushed 100 times for 462 yards and a touchdown.
Mattison has gained more confidence as the season goes on, and even without Cook, the Vikings' backfield would be in good hands.
The Vikings will look to pick up their second win in a row on Sunday against the Chargers.
