The Minnesota Vikings struggled to get anything going on offense early in their Week 8 matchup against the Washington Redskins. Fortunately, running back Dalvin Cook has been able to make his presence felt.

Cook was able to help secure a 13-6 lead going into halftime with a four-yard touchdown run, via NFL Twitter:

Another week, another big game for Cook. He has tallied 35 yards and a touchdown on eight carries, however, his biggest impact has come in the passing game after hauling in five receptions for 73 yards in the first half.

This kind of versatility is part of why Cook has established himself as one of the best running backs in the league during the 2019 NFL season. He has thrived in his role as the central force of this Vikings offense and it has clearly paid huge dividends thus far.

Cook may need to pull out a few more tricks up his sleeve in order to help Minnesota pull away in the second half. Regardless, it is safe to assume he is poised for a big game.
