On Friday, some shocking news came out of Florida. The police had announced that New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft is being charged in a prostitution ring bust.

According to a report via CBS Boston, there is video evidence of the two alleged incidents with Kraft. He is one of the 25 individuals involved with the changes.

More specifically Kraft is being charged with a misdemeanor. He paid for sexual services at the Orchids of Asia Day Spa, according to TCPalm.com. Even though he hasn't been arrested, a warrant is expected to be issued.

The investigation of the prostitution ring began last fall. They had been surveillance of the building. Most men would come into the building between 9 AM and 11:30 PM. Most of the men who walked in would leave after 30 minutes. Reports also mentioned that there were Chinese women living inside of the building being held captive.

The NFL itself released a statement regarding the matter.

Per Adam Schefter of NFL Network. the league is aware of the situation and is continuing to follow its developments.

This puts both Kraft and the NFL are in a tough position. Not often are owners disciplined for illegal activity, however, in other major American professional sports they have. Former Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling was removed as an owner because of former very racist comments. However, what Kraft is involved with is much worse.

Last season Kraft's team the Patriots went all the way and won the Super Bowl.

It remains to be seen how the NFL will handle this situation moving forward.
