Bill Belichick has never been a man of many words and the New England head coach showed that yet again. After being asked about Josh Gordon, Belichick repeatedly shot down questions pertaining to his wide receiver.
On Monday, Belichick held a press conference with the media and expectedly he received multiple questions about Gordon. The longtime head coach responded by saying he has “nothing to add” to his previous statement on the situation.
Gordon was conditionally reinstated by the NFL on Friday night. The troubled wide receiver was suspended indefinitely last December for violating terms of his previous reinstatement into the league.
With his reinstatement, Gordon was eligible to return to the Patriots' facility on Sunday and the receiver was seen with the team at practice on Monday. New England is hoping to get Gordon acclimated to their team again ahead of the regular season.
Upon his return, Gordon was placed on the Patriots' non-football injury list. That likely means that the team wants to get him in shape before they are comfortable allowing him to make his debut on the practice field.

Considering all of the injuries at the wide receiver position, Gordon's return comes at a perfect time. Julian Edelman and Demaryius Thomas are currently recovering from injuries that have held them out of training camp.
Over the course of his entire career, Gordon has struggled to stay on the field due to violating the league's substance-abuse policy a few times.
Therefore, Belichick will likely be asked about the 28-year old wide receiver until he remains clean.
