New England Patriots star quarterback Cam Newton is one of the biggest names who have recently tested positive of COVID-19. The 31-year old missed the Patriots' Week 4 match-up against the defending champions Kansas City Chiefs after his test results from last week came back positive.
While Newton and the rest of the Patriots are taking the situation on a day-to-day basis, the former MVP took to Twitter to deliver a strong but simple message to everyone as he slowly recovers from the deadly virus that has taken several lives.

Fortunately, it has been reported that Newton is currently asymptomatic and could be cleared to play for the Patriots anytime soon.
Wearing a mask and practicing physical distancing have been the primary solutions that experts have given since the onset of the pandemic in order to prevent its further spread. With that said, it's good to be reminded that these simple things are still very important and could help us all save lives.
Take it from Cam Newton himself.
Newton has had quite the start in New England before missing out the Patriots' Week 4 assignment. In his debut season as the Pats' main QB, Newton has tallied 714 passing yards for two passing TDs, as well as four rushing TDs in just three games. The three-time Pro Bowler seemed to be on track to another stellar season before the virus forced him to sit out.
As the season continues, more and more test results being conducted around the league have come back positive, which has even resulted to the match between the Tennessee Titans and Buffalo Bills being postponed. The Titans have been the team with the most cases of COVID-19, with at least 20 members of the team contracting the disease.
