The 2024 NFL schedule is officially out, and as has become the case in recent years, teams across the league put together creative videos in order to reveal their schedules. Two teams with the best videos in 2024 ended up being the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Chargers, and there's a pretty unique link to their videos that fans quickly caught.

The Patriots enlisted the help of retired legends Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski to come in and create “Good Jules Hunting“, which is a parody of the famous movie “Good Will Hunting.” Given how the movie takes place in Boston and stars local actors in Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, it's safe to say that this was a big hit among their fans.

As for the Chargers, they opted to release a video based on the popular video game series “The Sims.” The video unveils their schedule while also taking hilarious little digs at each of their opponents along the way, and while New England's video was good, it looks like Los Angeles' may hold the crown for the best schedule release video of the year.

The Patriots and Chargers both inadvertently were featured in each others' videos because they will face off against each other in Week 17. However, fans were quick to note an interesting tidbit in the Chargers video in regards to what the Patriots did in their video that seemed to indicate they knew what New England was doing for their schedule release video.

When the Patriots are featured in the Chargers video, it shows a bunch of their former players in a house celebrating, before a note pops up on the screen noting that their dynasty has ended. In the background of the house, a poster of the movie “Good Will Hunting” was spotted, which of course, ended up being the central focus of New England's video. Fans were shocked that they either got inside info on their video, or just randomly included the poster in the house due to its Boston ties.

There were several little easter eggs in the Chargers video, but this was one of the most interesting ones for the Patriots and their fans. Did Los Angeles know what they were doing, or was this simply a coincidence? It doesn't really matter either way, but it is a rather unique development that has unexpectedly emerged in the aftermath of these videos coming out.

Regardless, the Patriots certainly didn't catch the worst blow from the Chargers in this video (that would belong to Harrison Butker), but maybe this adds a little bit of juice to their upcoming matchup in Week 17. Chances are it won't, but you never know what can happen in the NFL, and you can bet if New England pulls off an upset victory, some trolling will be in store for Los Angeles thanks to this viral clip.
