Since being traded to the New England Patriots earlier this season, former Pro Bowl wide receiver Josh Gordon has been able to stay out of trouble away from the field.
It has been a key part for him becoming a greater factor for the Patriots' passing game with each new week. This is something he credits his teammates for, helping him to avoid making questionable choices that could put his career in jeopardy once again.
According to Doug Kyed of NESN.com.

In seven games since joining the Patriots, Gordon has racked up 26 receptions for 477 yards and two touchdowns. He has picked it up over the last couple of weeks. Gordon is posted a pair of 100 receiving yard performances in the last four games, tallying at least four catches in each contest over that stretch, as well as more than 80 receiving yards three times.
It's an encouraging sign to see he's staying out of trouble away off of the field. Issues away from the field have hurt his value and stunted his playing career. So it's a great sign to see the Baylor product showing his potential in his new home.
Gordon is now in a situation where he could have a great chance to compete for the Super Bowl while making the first trip to the playoffs in his career. This could be the right situation for him to keep his life together both on and off the field.
