Not bad for someone who had to transition from quarterback to wide receiver in college and who went undrafted in 2019.
Last year, Meyers had a banner year. He led the team with 83 receptions for 866 yards, and he had two touchdowns.
It's no wonder he has become a mainstay of the Patriots’ offense and one of Jones' favorite targets. Meyers and Jones, in fact, have become so comfortable with each other. Meyers should play an even bigger offensive role for the team this year.
Entering his fourth season in New England, Meyers told Masslive.com that he wants to stay with the team long-term:

One big reason he wants to stay put is having great teammates and coaches. He feels they help him grow and become better in every way:
“I’ve learned more about being a man just from them,” Meyers added. “It’s just been great to be around those guys. A great city to be in. So, I’m happy here.”
Jakobi Meyers should continue moving the chains for the Patriots this coming season. He is also expected to catch more balls deep as Mac Jones looks to connect with him more often. He will be a game-changer for New England, and that should make fans quite satisfied.
