The New England Patriots have struggled along the offensive line but they should be receiving help in the near future. According to Field Yates, New England has activated Isaiah Wynn to their active roster.

To begin the season, Wynn was the team's starting left tackle after missing the entire 2018 season due to a knee injury. The second-year left tackle started in the Patriots' first two games of the season and was remarkable.

Over his first two career starts, Wynn played in 82 offensive snaps and allowed zero sacks. At the same time, he was only called for a penalty once in the two games he played in.

As New England blew out the Miami Dolphins 43-0 in Week 2, Wynn sustained a turf toe injury that landed him on injured reserve. Since Wynn has been out with an injury, veteran Marshall Newhouse has replaced him at left tackle.

Newhouse has started in nine consecutive games for the Patriots and he's had his fair share of struggles. Over those nine starts, Newhouse gave up six sacks (fourth-most among tackles) in 660 offensive snaps played.

Luckily for the Patriots, the plan is for Wynn to return in Week 12 against the Dallas Cowboys. Undoubtedly, that is a much-needed boost to an offensive line that has allowed Tom Brady to be sacked 13 times since Week 5.

In addition, New England would love to get back to being able to run the ball more effectively. Brady has become frustrated with the offense in recent weeks, but he'll be elated to get his starting left tackle back in Week 12.
