New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski was held out of the team's trip to Chicago last week due to injury. Fortunately, it appears he will be good to go against the Buffalo Bills.
Gronkowski was sidelined versus the Bears due to back and ankle injuries. However, according to Mark Daniels of the Providence Journal, he is looking forward to playing in his native Buffalo:
“It’s going to be nuts,” Gronkowski said. “I’m from Buffalo, they’re going to be starting early. . . . It’s going to be popping. Straight popping.”
This is certainly an encouraging update for New England. Although the Patriots managed to pull off consecutive clutch wins over the last two games, it is obvious that quarterback Tom Brady is missing his favorite target. More importantly, it will Gronkowski a chance to find his rhythm after a slow start to the 2018 NFL season.

Furthermore, New England suddenly has a surplus of weapons in the receiving corps as opposed to the beginning of the year. The return of wide receiver Julian Edelman and arrival of wide receiver Josh Gordon has helped carry this group of pass-catchers alongside Gronkowski.
Regardless, it is safe to say the latter will be looking to enjoy a breakout game like he did in the season opener versus the Houston Texans.
