Josh Gordon hasn't been around since midseason for the New England Patriots according to owner Robert Kraft that has made the team sad. After being put on the commissioners suspended list for not following the rules in his reinstatement.

Gordon has been at an in treatment facility, something the team has been paying for and they haven't ruled out Gordon returning to the team at some point. Kraft was asked about Gordon and said he is a really good guy he just needs some good mentoring.

“He was a real good guy, and there was a connection,” Patriots owner Robert Kraft said on Boston Sports Night on NBC Sports Boston. “Unfortunately, people like that need mentoring at a young age, but when it becomes addiction, addiction is something that is way beyond our. . . . We gave him tremendous support on a daily basis, and he was worthy. But I think we as a society have to try to help these young people not to get addicted in the first place, and that’s the sad part of this. He’s a good guy — a really good guy. It makes us sad.”

Gordon was traded over from the Cleveland Browns early in the season and made an instant impact hauling in 40 catches for 720 yards and three touchdowns and according to Kraft he was a guy that was really good in the locker room. Kraft said he was a guy who was loved in the locker room and who the team probably wishes was with them heading into the Super Bowl.
