Could Tom Brady finally be aging? The 42-year-old New England Patriots superstar was a limited participant in Thursday's practice for not only a lingering right elbow injury but also a toe one.

There are no official designations for Brady in Week 14's matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs. However, it should appear evident that he isn't 100%; Brady has been hit over-and-over again throughout the 2019 season. It may be taking a toll on his body, despite saying otherwise.

I feel pretty good. I feel pretty good, yeah,” said Brady before the loss to Houston, via the team's official website.

Last week, in a loss to the Houston Texans, Brady suffered through 12 quarterback hits. His 21 sustained sacks through 12 games match his total from 2018. Though smaller numbers in comparison to other quarterbacks, Brady has been hit a lot — which can be negated, statistically, with his hyper-speed release.

Despite injuries, Brady remains one of the NFL's most productive quarterbacks in 2019. Through 12 games, he's passed for 3,268 yards, 18 touchdowns and six interceptions on a 61.1% completion rate, good for an 88.2 passer rating.

However, one would be foolish to not have some level of concern for Brady going forward. While his arm talent remains there, his mobility in the pocket has, to the eye, appeared to diminish. Couple that with an offensive line missing two starters from 2018, and there is cause for concern for the aging legend.

Does that mean we won't get Patrick Mahomes versus Tom Brady part three? Probably not. Brady has not missed a game for injury, since 2008.
