Beyond leading the league in passing yards, he was third with 32 passing touchdowns, a 102.8 passer rating, and fifth with a 66.3 completion percentage. Like each of these other players on this exclusive list, including himself in that undefeated season back in 2007, there is a feeling that Brady will come out on top.
It is still quite a difficult task to accomplish, even for quarterbacks coming off some of the best statistical campaigns of their respective careers. However, none of these other names had the same experience or success as Brady in the Super Bowl, winning five Lombardis in his seven appearances. This alone could work in is favor against the Philadelphia Eagles.

He recorded at least 290 passing yards and two touchdowns in each of those contests. The Michigan Wolverine continues to play at an elite level despite being in his 18th season.
The 40-year-old has a big challenge in front of him in trying to figure out how to effectively move the ball against the Eagles defense. They finished the regular season 17th against the pass, but Philadelphia has stepped their game up in the playoffs against highly formidable offenses, allowing a combined 17 points to the Atlanta Falcons and Minnesota Vikings. In fact, their play on that side of the ball is the primary reason they reached the Super Bowl.
Brady possibly pulling off this impressive feat just adds more intrigue to what should be an entertaining matchup on the grandest stage in football.
