When you're Tom Brady, you can pretty much do whatever you want and nobody will bat an eye. For example, last year, Brady skipped the New England Patriots' voluntary offseason workouts to spend more time with his family.

This year, he is apparently planning on doing the same thing.

According to Mike Reiss of ESPN.com, the early indications are that the 41-year-old quarterback will not be present at offseason workouts, following last year's plan.

Of course, these workouts are voluntary, so it's really not a huge deal, and in the case of the Patriots, who can not play football for 10 years and then proceed to roll out of bed and win Super Bowls, it's even less of an issue.

But, that being said, New England is facing more changes than usual right now, as tight end Rob Gronkowski retired and the franchise is seeing a lot of turnover in the coaching staff.

Still, for a six-time Super Bowl winner in Brady, that probably doesn't mean all that much, so it would actually be a surprise to see him participating in the offseason workouts.

Brady is coming off of a 2018 campaign in which many called him “done” as they watched him throw for 4,355 yards, 29 touchdowns and 11 interceptions while completing 65.8 percent of his passes and registering a passer rating of 97.7.

While Tom Brady made the Pro Bowl, his late-season struggles had many wondering if the “cliff” had finally arrived, but then, Brady looked virtuoso in leading the Pats to yet another championship, defeating the Los Angeles Rams in the Super Bowl.
