Untold stories about Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady continue to emerge from the dust as he is set to make the 10th Super Bowl appearance of his illustrious career in a couple of days. Brady's former Patriots teammate in Adrian Klemm bared that he immediately got a feeling that the quarterback was cut from a different cloth after getting the chance to play with him during his early years in the league.

“You could tell he was different. I couldn’t predict that he would be the greatest athlete ever or anything like that, but you could see he was different from everybody else”, he said during a guest appearance on Coffee with Coach. “His level of focus and commitment to the game, and just the level of maturity in terms of, everybody’s talking about first in, last out, he really lived that life”.

Klemm previously served as a former offensive tackle for the New England Patriots who entered the league together with Brady after both players were selected by the team in the 2000 NFL Draft.

Brady was eventually named the starting quarterback after former QB1 Drew Bledsoe had to sit out a number of games due to an injury. The Michigan product never looked back and led the team to an appearance in the Super Bowl XXXVI in just his first year of being named as a starter back in the 2001 season.

“When he became the starting quarterback, the year he won the Super Bowl, his first time starting, he was taking the o-line out, and he didn’t’ have any money yet”, he added. “He was from the dirt up, and he was a grinder. You had a certain level of respect for him”.

Indeed, being a grinder was the trait that separated Brady from the rest of the other playmakers in the league. Klemm also admitted that the quarterback's immense work ethic drove the entire Patriots unit to strive to be better versions of themselves.

With both Brady and Klemm at the helm, the Patriots eventually became one of the most dominant squads in the early 2000s. After reaching Super Bowl XXXVI, Brady led his team to two more titles in the 2003 and 2004 seasons.

Klemm eventually packed his bags and played for the Green Bay Packers before he retired by the end of the 2005 season. He then ventured to have a coaching career in the collegiate ranks before he returned to the league to serve as the new offensive line coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Meanwhile, Tom Brady is still chasing history as he looks to snag the seventh Super Bowl title of his career against the Kansas City Chiefs on Feb. 7.
