The New England Patriots are well rested and ready to get back on the field for their first playoff matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers after enjoying a first-round bye.
Ever since the Patriots learned who they'd be facing on Sunday, five-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady has been a busy man. The superstar quarterback claims he's been watching a lot of film to prepare for the Chargers, via Zack Cox of WEEI.com.

In the AFC Wild Card matchup with the Baltimore Ravens, the Chargers made easy work of John Harbaugh's squad. The final score, 23-17, didn't dictate Los Angeles' dominance over Lamar Jackson and company. It wasn't until the fourth quarter that the Ravens found the end zone and the game was basically out of reach at that point.
The Chargers' defense controlled the game as they sacked Jackson seven times and limited the mobile quarterback to 54 yards rushing which is impressive considering his success in that area this season.
As for the Patriots, Brady will have his work cut out for him against a defense which will be looking to put as much pressure on the perennial Pro Bowler as possible on Sunday. The 41-year-old had a solid season but showed some signs of decline and Los Angeles hope that continues this weekend at Foxboro.
