New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman has caught 563 passes from Tom Brady with 36 of those going for touchdowns. There has been a lot of big connections between the two, but there is one that stands out above the rest for Edelman.

What is the touchdown for Edelman that stands out above the rest?

“Mine was probably against Seattle when we were tied up together,” Edelman told The Athletic’s Nick Underhill. “We took the lead in fourth quarter. It was the first Super Bowl and it was nut-crunch time, nut-cutting time, so it’s good to go out there and something that we worked on so much, to go out and execute it with him and help him get his fourth (ring). That was something that is hugely cool.”

Brady has thrown a touchdown pass to 75 different players, so there have been plenty of favorites by many different pairs of hands. James White's favorite was the first touchdown catch of his career, while Wes Welker couldn't pick out a favorite, saying each one was special to him.

Phillip Dorsett remembers a touchdown last year in the AFC championship game late in the first half that helped them take a 14-0 lead into halftime.

“Probably the AFC Championship game (last season). A little double move. End of the first half. I would say it’s probably my favorite one because it was in a meaningful game to go to the Super Bowl.”

The hope the rest of this year is that Edelman and Dorsett will have key touchdown catches as the team tries to win another Super Bowl.
