Former Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield is one of the most intriguing prospects in the upcoming NFL Draft, and he's expected to be selected in the first round. He could go anywhere, but the New Orleans Saints, Buffalo Bills, New York Jets, and Miami Dolphins have made their interest known.

With the Senior Bowl set to take place this upcoming weekend, the four teams mentioned above have already met with the 2017 Heisman Trophy winner, according to Robert Klemko of SI.com.

Still, that’s not the big reason he’s here. Mayfield is here to meet with teams that might actually draft him, and he’s had extensive meetings with four of them; the Saints, Bills, Jets and Dolphins. And they put him through the wringer, teaching him some of their offensive concepts and asking him to recall them an hour later.

“That’s the only upside for me [being here],” Mayfield says of the meetings with teams. “I’m confident I can show exactly what I’m about, how much I care about football and how I’d do anything to win. And not just that. Put me on a board and let me show you how much I know about the game. Let me show that I can pick information up, take it and run with it. Getting in front of these people was so important, even bigger than the three years of film I put together.

Mayfield is highly touted for his accuracy and decision-making, leading many analysts to believe he will have a successful NFL career. The Oklahoma Sooner is coming off a stellar senior campaign where he led the nation’s most productive offense while completing 71 percent of his passes for 4,340 yards and 41 touchdown passes.

Despite his immense success at the collegiate level, there are some concerns about his size and maturity level, which may impact his draft stock. All four of the teams that expressed interest possess long-term questions at the quarterback position.

Although it's likely that Drew Brees returns to the New Orleans Saints, there is no heir apparent to him once he steps away. On top of that, head coach Sean Payton is said to be a “believer” of Mayfield.

Meanwhile, the Bills, Jets, and Dolphins don't have steady starting quarterbacks who are expected to take them to the next level in 2018. Things will foreseeably change after the free agency period, but it's clear that Mayfield is a highly-sought out commodity in the first round of the NFL Draft.
