New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara has achieved yet another excellent feat after a solid performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.

The Saints were able to clinch home-field advantage in the NFC after a thrilling 31-28 victory, which saw New Orleans rally late for the go-ahead touchdown with just 1:25 left in the fourth quarter.

Kamara once again played a role in the team's success, as while he had just seven carries for 23 yards, he managed to find the end zone two times on the ground and also caught four passes for 82 yards.

In racking up those numbers, the former Tennessee star joined some elite company thanks to another impressive season.

From the NFL's Research Department:

Alvin Kamara – just the 12th player in NFL history with 1,500+ scrimmage yards in each of his first 2 seasons. The last player to do so was Adrian Peterson from 2007-08.

There's no doubt that Kamara is one of the most dynamic playmakers in the NFL, and he's been a big reason why the Saints have had such a successful season.

Sean Payton has done an incredible job of finding ways to use both Kamara and Mark Ingram in the New Orleans offensive attack, and that's allowed them to form one of the most formidable running back duos in the league.

At 13-2 on the year, the Saints will now be able to relax a little bit knowing that they have home field officially locked up.

They'll finish up the regular season next Sunday when they host the Carolina Panthers.
