New Orleans Saints star quarterback Drew Brees has put together an illustrious NFL career that will one day land him in Canton, Ohio in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Through his first 17 seasons in the league has captured many league records along the way behind his arm.
Brees is creeping up on another impressive NFL milestone trailing Peyton Manning by just less than 1,500 passing yards for the all-time mark. With that in mind, the 39-year-old has voiced that he isn't thinking about that prestigious record heading into the 2018 campaign, according to Joel Erickson of The New Orleans Advocate.

Then as the season rolls around, you take it one week and one game at a time; eventually those things add up and they stack up, and then you are in a position to do it.”
The Pro Bowl quarterback looks like he will be able to pass that mark at some point in the first half of the season that could wind up falling in Week 5 on Monday night against the Washington Redskins. If he is able to continue to perform at a high level while remaining healthy, it's a mark that he will inevitably pass this upcoming season.
Brees is still performing at a high level that has maintained his reputation as being one of the league's top quarterbacks heading into his 18th campaign. The focus around the Saints will be around leading the team back to the playoffs after a promising 2017 season that saw them come up short in the divisional round on a miracle play by the Minnesota Vikings.
Ultimately, this will just be another major milestone to add to his already stacked resume from what's been an impressive NFL career.
