Dez Bryant has been waiting on a chance to return to the NFL all season long and it appears that he will get a serious look from the New Orleans Saints. After knocking off the previously undefeated Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, Drew Brees and company appear to be looking to improve a bit more moving forward.
According to a report from Jane Slater of the NFL Network, the New Orleans will bring in a group of wide receivers that will include Bryant as they look to give Brees more weapons to work with.

New Orleans has been one of the teams that have been connected to Bryant since the offseason. He has made it clear that he wants to play for a contender and with a star quarterback. Brees is a star quarterback and the Saints are without question a serious contender.
Article Continues BelowLast season with the Dallas Cowboys, Bryant caught 69 passes for 838 yards and six touchdowns. The term “washed up” has been used to describe him over the past few months, but that term isn't close to the truth.
Dallas chose to release Bryant earlier this offseason, which came as a decent shock to quite a few fans. He has been one of the faces of the Cowboys' franchise for years, but cutting him saved some money and also saved the Cowboys some drama.
Sean Payton would likely love to have a weapon like Bryant to utilize alongside Michael Thomas. Bryant may not be the superstar that he once was, but he is still more than capable of making an impact.
Expect to hear more about Bryant in the near future. New Orleans may not end up signing him, but this is certainly something to keep an eye on.
