On Monday, New York Jets star running back Breece Hall acknowledged the first anniversary of tearing his ACL and celebrated the fact that he’s made a full recovery from this devastating injury. However, he could have worded the tweet a little better, as the first few words of it sent Jets fans into a panic.
“Found out I Tore My ACL a year ago today. Look at God man,” Hall tweeted on Monday after the Jets’ bye week. “Answered all my prayers and then some,” he continued with a prayer hands emoji.
As Jets fans read the post, though, their hearts skipped a beat. Starting the tweet with “Found out I Tore My ACL,” all starting with capital letters, definitely caught people’s attention. It even startled NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, who retweeted the post, writing, “How to almost cause a heart attack with a tweet.”

Despite the poorly worded tweet, Hall’s message in the end was a great one. As a rookie, the talented runner faced a ton of adversity but came back strong less than a calendar year removed from his injury.
So far in 2023, Breece Hall has 66 carries for 426 yards with two rushing touchdowns, as well as 13 catches for 113 yards. Hall and the Jets come back from their bye in Week 8 against their stadium-mate rivals, the New York Giants.
