Robby Anderson is an extremely talented wide receiver for the New York Jets and has a bright future in the NFL. However, the off-the-field incidents that he has been going through the last couple of years have quite a few wondering what his future will end up being. As of right now, the NFL is not going to take action against Anderson.

According to a report from Austin Knoblauch of NFL.com, the league will not suspend Anderson at this time for his arrests over the past couple of years.

Both incidents that Anderson has been involved in have been very serious allegations. Back in 2017, Anderson was accused of shoving a police officer. Those chargers ended up being dropped when everything was said and done.

This year, on January 19, Anderson was arrested and charged with multiple felonies. Florida prosecutors then dropped the charges and he pled no contest to reckless driving.

Anderson has already had a solid season with the Jets through the first four weeks. He has caught eight passes for 108 yards and a touchdown. Obviously, he is not the No. 1 wide receiver in New York, but has still been a solid presence for rookie quarterback Sam Darnold to target.

At 25 years old, the future could not be brighter for Anderson. If he can get his life together away from football, he is going to continue having a very successful career.

Thankfully, the NFL is going to let Anderson get a free pass on these two mistakes. One can only hope that Anderson realizes how lucky he has been throughout these incidents and will make the necessary changes.
