Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Dirk Koetter has yet to announce who he plans on starting at quarterback when Jameis Winston returns from suspension. Winston is set to return in Week 4, after the Bucs take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 3. Unfortunately for Winston, Ryan Fitzpatrick has been crushing as a starter. There may not be a job for Winston when he gets back.

When asked what his planned to do about their unique quarterback situation, Koetter dodged the question.

“I won't be the one getting into that,” Koetter told reporters, via NFL.com. “We'll worry about that when the time comes. Right now we're going to start working on Pittsburgh and that's all that matters right now. Everything else is in the future because it could all change just like that.”

Fitzpatrick has thrown for over 400 yards in his first two games of the season. His 819 passing yards give him the highest mark in the NFL this season. He has thrown eight touchdown passes while completing nearly 79 percent of his passing attempts. Fitzpatrick has already thrown for more touchdowns than he did last season, and he will likely surpass last season's passing total against the Steelers in Week 3. Nobody expected this, but he's no stranger to NFL success.

In the 2015 season, Fitzpatrick threw for 3,905 yards and 31 touchdowns as the starting quarterback of the New York Jets. He probably thought he wouldn't see the light of day for a while when he was acquired by the Bucs, but Winston's off-field shenanigans gave him the opportunity he needed.

If Fitzpatrick keeps playing like he has been, it may be some time before Winston returns to the field again.
