The Los Angeles Chargers got some unfortunate news as wide receiver Mike Williams and Chris Harris have been placed on the covid list. Williams is one of Justin Herbert's favorite targets so this is definitely a big loss for a Chargers team who needs to win almost every remaining game on their schedule.
On the season, Williams has 55 receptions for 854 yards and seven touchdowns. The Chargers are going to hope that he will only miss their game against the New York Giants and he will be back to take on a tough Chiefs team next Thursday night. Williams is reportedly unvaccinated and if that is the case, he would definitely be out for Sunday.
It is a tough loss for the Chargers, but luckily for them, they're taking on the Giants who are one of the struggling teams in the NFL. They should be able to still take care of business even without Williams, but it could be a bit tougher.

It was a must-win game for the Chargers and they took care of business and showed everybody how good they really can be. If they can continue playing like this for the rest of the season, they will be a tough team to beat come playoff time.
The issue with the Chargers at times is that they do not play as well as they should and it causes them to lose games that they have no business losing. They're going to continue having to play good football as they are taking on the Giants on Sunday in Los Angeles.
