Former NFL tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins can't seem to stay out of trouble. Seferian-Jenkins has been arrested again, this time for a DWI on March 9th.

Last June, the New England Patriots released him and he said he needed time away from the league so he could deal with some personal issues. According to TMZ, Seferian-Jenkins was arrested in Gig Harbor, Washington for DWI.

He was charged with one count of DUI, a count of driving on a suspended license, and one count of operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock device. Seferian-Jenkins was also charged with a civil infraction of speeding and improper lane change.

This is the third time that Seferian-Jenkins has been arrested for DUI. In 2016 he was released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after being arrested for DUI. He was also charged for one during his college days at the University of Washington.

Seferian-Jenkins has never been known as a star. But he was solid when he was on the field. Seferian-Jenkins looked to be promising with the Buccaneers. But the DUI caused his release and he had to start over.

Seferian-Jenkins' best season was in 2017 when he played in 13 games with the New York Jets. He finished with 50 receptions for 357 yards and three touchdowns.

Even if Seferian-Jenkins doesn't ever return to the NFL, hopefully he can get the help he needs in his personal life.

Maybe this is just the wakeup call he needs to turn it around.
