There are a number of potential prospects that could be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. Among the more notable players is Alabama defensive tackle Quinnen Williams.

It is not unusual for a player of his caliber to market himself as a surefire top pick. However, Williams said during an appearance on SiriusXM NFL Radio that he does not care where he gets drafted.

“It’s not really important to me to go No. 1,” Williams said. “I just really want to go. I’m just blessed to be in this draft class with these guys and meeting these top athletes and stuff like that. I’m just really not thinking about going No. 1, No. 2. I just want to be the best player that I can be for that team that I’m on and just create my craft.”

It is safe to assume that Williams would not mind going No. 1 overall. It is also clear that he does not seem to have a preference for any of the top teams at this moment.

The Cardinals currently own the No. 1 overall pick in the draft. There has been plenty of speculation regarding head coach Kliff Kingsbury's interest in Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray, however, Williams seems like a more realistic option at this point considering their current voids up front.

Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald has shown the value of having a dominant interior lineman. Even if Arizona does pass on Williams, potential stalwarts like him will not be on draft boards for very long.
