Outside of the top five quarterbacks, a handful of gunslingers are also expected to be picked after Round 1 of the 2021 NFL Draft. According to the NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, some teams including the Chicago Bears, Minnesota Vikings, New Orleans Saints, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have reportedly assessed the potential of these under-the-radar prospects.

One of the quarterbacks mentioned includes Florida's Kyle Trask who racked up a respectable three-year run with the Gators in the amateur ranks. He made a name for himself during his senior season back in 2020 as he notched a total of 4,283 passing yards on 301 completions to go with 43 touchdowns through 12 games played. Trask's production led him to be selected as one of the finalists for the 2020 Heisman Trophy award.

Another 2020 NFL Draft talent is Texas A&M quarterback Kellen Mond who served as a four-year letterman with the Aggies from 2017 to 2020. In his senior campaign, he recorded 2,282 passing yards on 188 completions to go with 19 touchdowns scored in 10 appearances. The Texas native led his team to win the 2021 Orange Bowl and was named as the 2021 Senior Bowl MVP.

Rounding out the list is Stanford's Davis Mills who had a short-lived amateur career with the Cardinal due to injuries. He only played a total of 14 collegiate games and tallied 1,508 passing yards on 129 completions and seven touchdowns through five contests in the 2020 season.

Even though these quarterbacks are mostly overlooked, the aforementioned teams are seemingly still hoping that they can make use of these sleeper talents to bolster their rosters in the coming 2021 NFL season.
