Listed at 6-foot-5, Iowa offensive tackle Tristan Wirfs was already an extremely intriguing NFL Draft prospect. He just turned 21 and is one of the most athletically gifted offensive linemen in the entire draft.
It looks like a little more incentive has been added for those teams not convinced.
According to Mark Emmert of HawkCentral.com, Wirfs' growth plates are not closed yet. In fact, he's not 6'5″ anymore. Now he's listed an inch taller, at 6'6″.
That's likely to garner the interest of a lot of NFL teams. An extremely young and athletically talented offensive tackle, and he's still growing. The idea that he could hit 6-foot-8 definitely has to have some teams excited.
Listed at 320 pounds, you'd have to expect this would mean he would put on a little more weight as well. And Wirfs would gain even bigger of an advantage in the trenches.

It doesn't matter how big you are. If you are not talented, no team is going to want to take a chance on you.
That's what makes Wirfs so special though as he's extremely talented. The offensive tackle has everything going for him at the moment, and absolutely has the potential to be a fantastic offensive lineman in the NFL.
The team that decides to draft Wirfs could have a star on their hands. And it might be a star that's still growing, literally.
