The 2020 NFL Draft was already pegged as one of the deepest receiver classes in recent history. It appears another potential playmaker can now be added to the mix. According to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter, Clemson wide receiver Tee Higgins has officially declared for the 2020 NFL Draft.

Higgins immediately becomes one of the more notable draft prospects at his position. He finished the 2019 season with 59 receptions for 1,167 yards and 13 touchdowns en route to helping Clemson make the National Championship Game.
Tee Higgins established himself as a bonafide deep threat in college with 19.8 yards per reception last season. At 6-foot-4, 215 pounds, he already boasts the kind of prototypical size and speed teams are looking for in a No. 1 option for their passing game and he will have a chance to solidify this notion throughout the draft process.
There are a number of teams looking to upgrade their receiving corps in this year's draft. Fortunately, the odds appear to be in their favor with such a bevy of promising talent set to make the jump to the NFL. It will be interesting to see where Higgins ultimately ranks in the pecking order come late April.
Clemson has a proven track record for producing some of the NFL's best playmakers at the receiver position. This list includes the likes of DeAndre Hopkins, Sammy Watkins, and and Mike Williams. As a result, this could very well make Tee Higgins one of the safer bets when it comes to sorting through this deep class of wideouts.
