The coronavirus pandemic has created a lot of problems for the sports world. However, the NFL has been able to remain mostly the same.
Yes, the Draft was done virtually, and some aspects of the offseason have been different. But they still plan on having a normal regular season and postseason.
And now that seems like even more of a possibility. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the NFL and the NFLPA have reached an agreement.

So this still needs the NFLPA reps to approve on it. But this is a major step in the right direction.
If the two sides can agree, we get an NFL season just as normal as any other. It's hard not to get at least a little excited and optimistic about that.
Of course, there are still some big hurdles to overcome. The NFL regular season is still some time away. So saying that this was the last step is just wrong.

If the two sides can come to agreement on this though, that does show that they are continuing to work well together.
With that in mind, it's easy to feel a little more comfortable about the future. Because no matter what happens, you can trust that the two sides will work together to try and find a solution that works for everyone.
Most importantly though, not only will it work for everyone, but it will get the NFL season started.
At this point, it's just a countdown. Can things remain on track up until the start of the season? It looks like the NFL and NFLPA will do their best to make sure that's the case.
