Last night's World Series Game 7 transcended baseball. People who never (or rarely) watched baseball previously sat on the edge of their seats as the Cubs won their first title in 108 years.
Professional athletes from other sports were tuned in, too, including the NFL. As the final innings played out, a number of them tweeted out their thoughts and reactions.
The action amped up when the Indians' Rajai Davis hit a two-run homer to tie the score in the eighth:

The tension heightened during a brief rain delay after the ninth inning. When play resumed, the Cubs promptly plated a pair of runs to go up, 8-6. Cleveland added a run in the bottom half, but it wasn't enough to overcome Chicago.
