It is no secret that Gruden's seat has been heating up over the last few years due to the team's shortcomings. Washington has now missed the postseason for the third year in a row and has given little indication about a potential resurgence in the near future. As a result, Gruden has rightfully received the brunt of the criticism.

Although Gruden's job may be safe for now, it seems the same cannot be said for defensive coordinator Greg Manusky. He made headlines recently after receiving the brunt of the criticism from safety D.J. Swearinger.

As a result, Swearinger has since been cut from the team despite earning a trip to the Pro Bowl. His release has undoubtedly left a negative stigma surrounding Manusky's relationship with the players. Regardless, it is safe to assume that some changes are on the way this offseason.
