The restrictions placed in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic have offered up its own set of challenges for NFL players to stay in shape. Fortunately, it seems this did not stop guard Brandon Brooks from kicking his workouts up a notch. This is extra impressive considering he's injured and considered out for the season.

It is safe to say that this is quite the transformation for Brooks given the usual weight he has become accustomed to playing at. Regardless, it is indicative of the work he has put in to stay in shape despite a few setbacks this offseason.
Article Continues BelowBrooks has had to spend a bulk of the offseason recovering from a number of serious surgeries. After having his shoulder operated on, he was forced to undergo surgery to repair a torn left Achilles and has already been ruled out for the 2020 NFL season.
Although Brooks is not slated to play any time soon, it is encouraging to see the level of progress he has made since the injury. It will be interesting to see how long he maintains this shredded transformation before potentially going back to his playing weight.
There is no question that the loss of Brooks deals a crushing blow to the Eagles offensive line given his status as one of the NFL's premier interior linemen. While his absence leaves a notable void in the protection for quarterback Carson Wentz, the team can take solace in the fact that he is doing all that he can to come back stronger than ever.
