The Philadelphia Eagles are heading into the NFL offseason hoping to make a splash in free agency. That splash could end up being former Pittsburgh Steelers superstar running back Le'Veon Bell. After sitting out the entire 2018 season, Bell will be searching for a big contract with a new team.
In a recent tweet sent out by Bell, he hinted that he might be interested in signing with the Eagles.

Bell will end up getting paid this offseason, but he may not get the $50 million he wants. There are at least four or five teams that are expected to have serious interest in signing him.
Article Continues BelowBack in the 2017 season with the Steelers, Bell ended up carrying the football 321 times for 1,291 yards and nine touchdowns. He also caught 85 passes for 655 yards and two touchdowns.
At 27 years old, Bell is still in his prime and could be the focal point of any teams offense. If he were to sign with the Eagles, Philadelphia's offense would take an immediate step forward. Carson Wentz needs some help and Bell would be exactly the guy to provide that support.
Jay Ajayi was acquired a couple years back from the Miami Dolphins to be their long-term running back. Unfortunately, a torn ACL ended his 2018 season early. Now, the Eagles could be preparing for life without Ajayi and could let him walk to another team this offseason in free agency.
All of that being said, it is going to be interesting to see which team ends up signing Bell this offseason when everything is said and done.
