For the second straight week, Carson Wentz needed to perform well in the clutch for the Philadelphia Eagles, and for the second straight week, he delivered. With only 26 seconds remaining, Wentz connected with Greg Ward Jr. to give the Eagles the comeback win over the Washington Redskins.

Once the ball was snapped, the Redskins shifted their focus to covering Zach Ertz. Therefore, Ward was left one-on-one with Josh Norman on the other side of the field.

Wentz delivered a pass that allowed the rookie wide receiver to make a play on the ball. In the end, Ward was able to corral the pass and give Eagles another dramatic win over a divisional opponent.

Before signing with the Eagles as an undrafted rookie, Ward played quarterback in college. Due to injuries, Ward has seen an uptick in snaps with the starting offense.

Ward's 18th reception of the season came at the perfect time and gave his first touchdown in the NFL.
