The Washington Redskins faced off against the Tennesse Titans on Saturday afternoon.

The Titans ended up on top by a score of 25-16.

Titans cornerback Malcolm Butler sealed the deal when he took an errant hail-mary toss straight to the end zone for a touchdown.

The Titans were able to pull off the win despite having to play two quarterbacks due to injury. Marcus Mariota and Blaine Gabbert combined to throw for 211 yards on 17-of-24 completions with one total touchdown on the game. Running back Derrick Henry had 21 carries for 84 yards and one touchdown.

The Redskins had to start their third-string quarterback, Josh Johnson threw for 153 yards on 13 of 23 with one touchdown and two interceptions, one being the game-sealer pick-six by Butler. Adrian Peterson ran 26 carries for 119 yards, allowing him to reach 1,000 rushing yards on the season. It's now the eighth season of his 12-year career where Peterson has run for over 1,000 yards.

On the season the Titans are 9-6 and rank second in the AFC South. They only score 19.1 points per game, which ranks 27th among all NFL teams. Their offense may not be the NFL's best, but they do have one of the league's best defenses. They only allow 18.1 points per game, which ranks third among all NFL teams.

The Redskins are now 7-8 on the season and rank second in the NFC South Division. They only score 18.9 points per game, which ranks 28th in the entire league. However, their defense is fairly decent, only allowing 22.1 points per game, ranking 13th in the entire league.

The Titans will face off against the Indianapolis Colts at home in Week 17. The Redksins will face off against the Philadelphia Eagles at home in Week 17.
