Over the last several seasons, Pittsburgh Steelers star wide receiver Antonio Brown has earned the reputation as being arguably the best player at his position in the league. Much of this has been behind his stellar production each season that has put him on pace to potentially challenge Hall of Famer Jerry Rice for several all-time receiving records.

Rice had put together an illustrious career that saw him play well into his 40s, which is something that Brown has made clear he doesn't plan on doing for his own career (h/t Simon A. Chester of Steelers Wire).

“Nah (laughs) I’ve got too many kids to raise man, I’m not playing until I’m 45, I’m not chasing Jerry Rice. No one will remember who’s number one in the NFL in receving yards, they will have to google that, they not going to remember that and even if they do that don’t give me any credibility in life.”

Brown has no desire to push his career to that point where he's playing in the league in his 40s as he's satisfied for however the rest of his career pans out. Regardless if he's chasing Rice or not, the level of production that he brings to the table each year will put him in that exclusive category the further along he goes.

The 29-year-old is currently sitting 48th in total receiving yards sitting just shy of 10,000 for his career that could see him move up to the top 30 in that category by the end of next season. Meanwhile, he has 733 career receptions that put him 42nd on the all-time list that may see him rise inside the top 30 in that mark following the 2018 campaign.

Although Brown may not want to play into his 40s, he is in the prime of his career and could have plenty more highly productive seasons ahead of him that will only further solidify his status as one of the league's all-time greats and sure-fire Hall of Famer.
